Bee Vang holds a BA in politics, philosophy and economics from Brown University. He has pursued journalism, activism and scholarship around racial and social justice, urban policy, emerging technology, food justice, environmentalism, and economic development issues through researching, writing, the arts and more. He has held professional positions at various organizations such as Columbia University's The American Assembly, Twin Cities Media Alliance, The Economist, First Look Media, WhyHunger, Asian Cinevision, The Rachel Maddow Show at MSNBC and Legacies of War, where he advocated for the clearance of unexploded ordnance in Laos. He is currently providing communications and editing/writing support for War Legacies Project.
